I belong to the 813 community, that’s the area code for Tampa residences. Tampa is a crazy cool place if you haven’t had the opportunity to visit i recommend it. I'm simply a member of this community because my parents decided to move there when i was younger but I’m very fortunate that i was able to live there for as long as i did. No matter who you are Tampa has something for you, if you like to party we have ybor city and gasperilla which i 2nd biggest party in the nation every year only behind Marti graw. If your a beach bum Clearwater is only like 20 minutes away. If you like sports we have the bucs, rays and lightening. All in all its a pretty ideal place to live, i think my favorite part about it is that their is always something to do even if you dont like to do much. Another cool thing is that disney is only about an hour away or if your more into roller coasters bush gardens is in tampa and is definitely alot of fun. Lowery park zoo is another cool place to hang out every once in a while, it was voted the number one family zoo in the nation so that might be something you do with your family opposed to your friends but its still a lot of fun. I actually live in new tampa which is just north of tampa and over the past 10 years new tampa has been the 2nd fastest growing city in the nation which is just a cool little fact. I've been living in tampa for 9 years now and have loved every bit, once i get out of college and settle down i plan on living their for many more years enjoying all the city has to offer.
